Good family pub, family meal offers such as 2 adult meals 2 kids meal and a pudding to share for just 15 pounds.

Always great food when I come hot, fast and such great atmosphere

Cheap and cheerful pub lunch, 2 meals for under a tenner during the week. Food was nice.Barman and waiting staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Not the best experience for a family get together before Christmas, when being served, staff seemed more interested in a group of what appeared local people sat at the bar, who pretty well dominated the atmosphere in the pub. As there were 6 people in our party all with differing orders, we worked from a written list to ensure everyone's order was placed correctly. When the food arrived, one of the meals was incorrect and one missing completely, they went to check on this, and the person who served us, did say that it may have been his error and not keyed it in correctly, and offered to get it cooked as a priority and that we could settle the bill later. The meal was cooked quickly and the steak cooked how we had requested it although it did mean that the rest of us had nearly finished our meals before this one arrived.Final problem was that 2 people ordered the Burger Sizzler Combo, which was something we had not seen on a Hungry Horse menu before, and although well presented, the steak was overcooked from the medium rare that was requested, and it didn't have much flavour, the biggest problem was that the burgers had been overcooked, took a steak knife to cut through them, they were very dry and only the centres were edible. We have enjoyed many a meal at Hungry Horses in the past, but this was our first visit to the Flying Legends and do not think we will make a point of returning.

Food missing from order and what was there was truly discusting. Drinking pub not a food pub. If you don't mind eating burnt food around loud drunks this is the place for you.
